City of Aspen granted authorization to use the Traditional Licensing Process
On September 28, 2023, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) granted the City of Aspen authorization to use the Traditional Licensing Process.
Maroon Creek Hydro-Electric Relicensing Public Meeting
Please join us for a public meeting regarding the Maroon Creek Hydro-Electric Relicensing project.
The meeting will be held on November 7, 2023, at 2 p.m.
The meeting will begin with a presentation in the City Hall Council Chambers (427 Rio Grande Place, Aspen, Colorado) from 2-3 p.m. At 3 p.m. the City of Aspen will provide transportation to the Maroon Creek hydroelectric site. If you are unable to join the presentation, please meet at the City Hall parking lot on Rio Grande Place by 3 p.m. for a shuttle to the facilities.
