4/7/25 Park Ave Stormwater & Pedestrian Project Update

Dear Neighbors,

We’d like to share the latest updates on the Park Avenue Stormwater and Pedestrian Improvement Project, including upcoming road closures, water service changes, and project adjustments.

Upcoming Road Closures:

  • The Park & Midland intersection will be closed from April 7 to April 9.

  • The Hopkins & Park intersection will close from April 9 through April 11.

  • Once the Hopkins & Park intersection closes on April 9, the Park & Midland intersection will reopen.

  • The Hopkins walking bridge will be closed for three weeks beginning on April 9.

  • Alternative walking routes include Park Ave to Cooper Ave or Park Ave to King St.


Bus Detour Information:

  • During the Park & Midland closure, bus service will be temporarily rerouted via Gibson Ave and Neale Ave.

  • Once the Park & Midland intersection reopens on April 9, the bus detour will return to its usual route along Midland Ave.

Water Service Interruptions

  • April 8 (7 AM–7 PM): Temporary water shut off for Park and Midland area neighbors.

  • April 10 (7 AM–7 PM): Temporary water shut off for Park & Hopkins area neighbors.

  • Flyers were distributed to all nearby residents with these updates.
